Help make a difference in our students' lives...
Support the Rabbi Mark & Linda Karasick Shalem High Schools Vocational Preparedness Program
We look forward to working with you to build a stronger, more inclusive world.
Program Details
Depending on their age and experience, and the business’ needs, students are typically placed at work-study sites anywhere from 1-2 hours one day a week, to 4-8 hours two days per week. More experienced students may work up to five days per week.
Students are placed in groups of 1-2, depending on the site’s needs and space limitations.
On-site job coaches are provided by SINAI Schools to supervise and guide students during the year.
Working With You
SINAI is highly committed to supporting each of our vocational partners to the fullest. We will partner with you to identify appropriate tasks for our students, and place our students based on each of their abilities and your needs as an employer. Our skilled job coaches remain on-site, providing ongoing supervision and training to our students while facilitating problem-solving and addressing new situations as they arise. Our vocational partnerships lead to mutually beneficial experiences for both the employer and our students.
