SINAI Schools’ Art Show Highlights Student Talent and Creative Expression

By: SINAI Schools

SINAI students and their families came together on Sunday, April 19 to celebrate their creative achievements at this year’s Unique Inspirations Student Art Show. The event drew a remarkably large turnout, with hundreds of people filling the space to support the young artists.

Showcasing artwork created by students across SINAI’s New Jersey schools through the Paley-Mironov Art Therapy Program, the art show took place at Congregation Beth Abraham in Bergenfield and celebrated the imagination and expressive growth of each young artist.

Since 2014, the art show, made possible through the generosity of Bear Givers, has been a beloved highlight of the SINAI academic year, bringing together students, families and community members to celebrate the students’ artistic accomplishments.

For many students, art serves as an important means of expression, allowing them to share thoughts and feelings that can be difficult to communicate verbally. Through SINAI’s Paley-Mironov Art Therapy Program, students learn strategies to better understand and regulate their emotions, which support the development of self-awareness and a stronger belief in their own abilities. The creative work encourages confidence, helps students build connections with peers and strengthens their ability to cope with challenges, all while easing stress and anxiety.

The showcase will continue with upcoming art shows featuring artwork by students from the Irving Montak SINAI School at SAR Academy on May 12 and from SINAI at Yeshiva of Central Queens on May 13.

The students’ artwork is available to view online and purchase on canvas, mug, mousepad and greeting cards; visit www.sinaischools.org/2026-sinai-art-shows. All proceeds support SINAI’s Paley-Mironov Art Therapy Program.
